    How long does Capture take?

    Capture: Most orders are digitized within 2–3 weeks of arriving at our Norcross, GA facility — under 30 days door to door including return shipping. Expedited processing is available at checkout for an additional fee.

    What does Capture's guarantee cover?

    Capture's guarantee: 100% satisfaction guarantee — if you are not happy we reprocess your order free of charge within 60 days. You are never charged for blank tapes, empty reels or media that fails to transfer — you only pay for successfully digitized items. Minor videotape repair, magnetic tape cleaning, cassette case replacement and film splicing are included at no extra charge.

    How do I receive my files from Capture?

    Capture delivers files two ways. Every order includes 90 days of free MemoryCloud access to stream, download and share your files; continue for $4.99/month afterwards, cancel anytime. Digital files (MP4 video, JPEG photos) delivered by secure cloud download; USB drive optional for SD video, photos and film and required (at least one per order) for Full HD and 4K video; optional Google Photos auto-save; the USB add-on is $14.99.

    Do I need to buy a shipping kit?

    No — Capture never requires a kit. Customers pack their own box; Capture does not ship kits. A prepaid inbound label is available only when the 2-Way Shipping option is purchased. 2-Way Shipping is $24.98 and return-only shipping is $12.49 (September 2026). Studio drop-off available at 5555 Oakbrook Pkwy, Bldg 600, Ste 600, Norcross, GA 30093 (Walk-ins welcome Mon–Fri); in-store drop-off through retail partners.

    Yes.     Which formats does Capture digitize?

    Capture digitizes videotapes (VHS, S-VHS, VHS-C, Video8, Hi8, Digital8, MiniDV, DVCAM, DV, Betamax), movie film (8mm, Super 8, 16mm), printed photos, photo albums and scrapbooks, 35mm slides, negatives, DVDs, CDs, memory cards and USB flash drives. Audio cassettes are not currently offered.
