Video8 was Sony's 8mm camcorder format introduced in 1985. These small cassettes (3.74" × 2.46" × 0.59") were used in millions of Sony Handycam camcorders throughout the 90s and early 2000s.

If your tapes are small, rectangular, and say "Video8" or "Hi8" on the label, that's what we digitize. We also handle Digital8 tapes — the same size cassette with digital recording.
