Convert 35mm Negatives to Digital

We accept 35mm negatives in strips or uncut rolls. This includes colour negative film (C-41), black & white negative film, and chromogenic B&W film. Negatives can be sent in sleeves, envelopes, or loose.

Negatives require an additional colour inversion step — the tones and colours are reversed on the film, so our software inverts them to produce a true-to-life positive image. We also apply orange mask correction for colour negatives to ensure accurate colours.

All 35mm negatives are scanned at up to 600 DPI, producing high-resolution JPEG files suitable for large reprints, enlargements, and archival storage.

No. You can send uncut rolls, pre-cut strips, or individual frames. Our technicians handle all formats and will carefully manage your film throughout the process.

Processing typically takes 2–3 weeks from when we receive your order. Large collections (500+ frames) may take a bit longer. We'll keep you updated throughout.

Yes, always. Your original negatives are returned via FedEx in the same shipment as your digital output. We never keep or dispose of your originals.

Yes. Our 600 DPI scanning process resolves to 4K-equivalent detail, capturing shadow and highlight information that standard prints often lose.

Many faded, dusty, or lightly scratched negatives can still be digitized. Image correction may improve the finished digital copy, although severe scratches, mold, chemical deterioration, or damaged emulsion cannot always be fully restored.

Avoid using household cleaners or wiping the film surface yourself. Keep negatives in protective sleeves and allow the digitization team to handle appropriate preparation to reduce the risk of additional scratches or damage.
